How to Get from Greater Rochester International Airport to Ontario, NY

ROC is west of Ontario, with New York State Routes 104 and 350 serving the town. The Town of Ontario also gives the New York State Thruway distance as 20 miles, with Exit 43 at Manchester and Exit 46 at Henrietta.

These are useful road references when planning your drive, but they do not specify a turn-by-turn route from the airport.

Driving connects the airport with Ontario, but the available route facts do not identify a particular sequence of roads. The Town of Ontario identifies Routes 104 and 350 as highways serving the area; use a current map to choose your route and check traffic before setting out.

If you are travelling on to the town centre, the guide to getting to Ontario, NY town centre from the motel covers that separate leg.

Rental cars, RTS buses, rideshares, taxis and limousines are among the airport’s ground-transport options. The rental-car counters are on the lower level beside baggage claim, while RTS buses pick up directly in front of the terminal on that level.

The airport says you may arrange a limousine service of your choice for pickup or drop-off; it does not endorse individual services. If someone is collecting you by car from the airport’s shuttle parking lots, an airport shuttle carries passengers between those lots and the main terminal.

Allow time to collect your bags and reach the pickup point for your chosen transport. For a rental car, head to the counters beside baggage claim on the lower level. For an RTS bus, go to the pickup area in front of the terminal, also on the lower level.

For the onward drive, Greater Rochester International Airport is about 31 minutes by car from Budget Inn Ontario, a one-star motel in Ontario. Driving time can vary, so check the official site before you go for current airport transport details.
